Born in Toronto, Patrick met his spouse while attending law school at the University of Victoria. After graduating, he moved across the country to Newfoundland and Labrador and was called to the Newfoundland and Labrador Bar in 2019. After a year working with the judges of the Supreme Court of Newfoundland and Labrador, he entered private practice in St. John’s, where his work focused on complex casualty claims and commercial disputes. In 2022, he and his spouse returned to British Columbia, moving to her hometown of Kamloops. He joined Morelli Chertkow in 2023.
Patrick’s practice is litigation-focused, with an emphasis on business and estate disputes and a continuing practice in property and insurance matters. Although his estate work is principally contentious, Patrick also provides estate planning services to private clients.
With two young daughters, Patrick doesn’t have much time to himself, but enjoys running and tinkering with his 3D printer. Since moving to Kamloops, he has become active in the Westsyde Community Development Society and the BC Interior Community Foundation, and volunteers with the Lawyers Assistance Program.
