Legal Administrative Assistant, Litigation
Legal Administrative Assistants are responsible for a variety of administrative tasks required in the processing of clients’ legal matters. The successful candidates will have completed the Legal Administrative Assistant Certificate program (or have equivalent experience) and experience with PI Defence or Family law is preferable.
We are looking for an accomplished Lawyer to join our well-established Firm. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of general litigation, Family and/or Personal Injury Defence experience; good practice management skills; and is willing to contribute to a positive and respectful team environment. We will provide a full case load and you will be supported by the rest of the Firm’s legal services team.
Conveyancers are responsible for a variety of legal administrative tasks related to real estate transactions including performing title searches; preparing and submitting required documents and title deeds to the Land Title registry; and registering, transferring, or discharging mortgages.
The successful candidate will have completed the Legal Administrative Assistant Certificate program (or have equivalent experience) and 3+ years of conveyancing experience preferably using econveyance software.
Paralegals complete substantive administrative work related to trial preparation, drafting legal documents, and performing legal research. The successful candidate will have completed an Accredited Paralegal program (or have equivalent work experience); excellent organizational and communication skills; and the ability to work under pressure and within strict deadlines. Experience with PI Defence law is preferable.
The Scheduler is responsible for the setting of discoveries, trials and mediations for the litigation lawyers and providing clerical support as required.
Human Resources Specialist
Accountable to the Managing Partners, the Human Resources Specialist is responsible to oversee the strategic and day-to-day human resource functions of the Firm to ensure strategies and processes are completed efficiently and effectively.
